MSP Runway Shuts Down Temporarily

A runway at Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport was temporarily shut down after an incident involving a small cargo plane.

According to MSP spokesman Pat Hogan, as the plane landed its left landing gear collapsed, veering the plane into the grass.

The pilot was the only person on board, and was not injured.

The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. Thursday and did not impact the airport's operations.
