Hospital Patients in Minnesota Cast Absentee Ballots

The polls don't open until Tuesday, but many Minnesotans have already cast their ballots.

270,000 Minnesotans have requested absentee ballots, so far 235,000 of them have been sent in. Among that group about 25 patients at Regions Hospital in Saint Paul. The patients can't head to the polls tomorrow, so they cast ballots in front of election judges in their hospital room.

Election judges are required to offer absentee voting to patients in hospitals during primary and general elections.
