Minn. Businessman, Former State Sen. George Pillsbury Dies

A Minnesota businessman and politician has died. George Pillsbury was a former state senator and one of the last family members to be involved with the Pillsbury Company.

The Republican party sent out a statement Sunday that read:

"Our thoughts and prayers are with George Pillsbury's family and many friends today. His leadership and generous heart touched many - whether it was his service in the Minnesota State Senate, the Republican Party of Minnesota, or the numerous charitable organizations he worked with. His absence will be felt by all Minnesotans."

George Pillsbury was 91.
