2 Teens Missing from Red Wing Back in Custody
Minnesota corrections officials say two boys who had gone missing from the Red Wing juvenile prison are back in custody.
According to Department of Corrections spokesman John Schadl, the two are being held at the Red Wing Police Department. An ongoing investigation will determine if the boys will face additional charges.
The 16- and 17-year-old boys went missing between Sunday night and Monday morning at the minimum-security facility.
Schadl says the younger teen was serving time for assault and the older teen has a burglary conviction.
