Minnetonka Moccasin Sues Target Over Shoe Design
Two Minnesota based companies are fighting over a shoe design.
The Minnetonka Moccasin company is suing Target for trademark infringement for copying its beaded thunderbird design.
Minnetonka Moccasin says its used the design since the 1960's, and it's a registered trademark.
According to the complaint, the shoe company says it contacted Target last year and offered to let Target sell its shoes.
Then in 2012 Target allegedly started selling moccasins with a similar design.
Target and Minnetonka Moccasin declined to comment.
