A pony found wandering a Hastings neighborhood earlier this week has a new home.
The neighbor who found the pony said she'd keep it for a few days until its owner came forward. After the story originally aired on 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS no one came forward to claim the pony. Sunday a loving family said they'd take care of him.
Ashley Quinee says she saw the story of Facebook and felt really bad for the pony, who has a special condition that needs extra care. Quinee says she is happy to give him that care.
As far as a name, that's still up in the air. Quinee is still trying to decide between Hobo and Drifter.
