EmailWoman Hit by Vehicle, Seriously Injured in St. Paul
A young woman was seriously injured Wednesday evening when she was hit by a vehicle while crossing a St. Paul street.
St. Paul police spokesman Howie Padilla says officers were called shortly after 5 p.m. to Grand and Hamline avenues.
The woman was hit as the vehicle turned from eastbound Grand Avenue onto Hamline Avenue. She was either in or near the crosswalk at the time, Padilla says.
The woman who was driving the vehicle has not been cited at this time and is cooperating with police as they investigate the crash.
