One Dead, One Injured in North Minneapolis Shooting
One man is dead and another injured after an early morning shooting in north Minneapolis. Officers were called to a house on the 2100-block of Penn Avenue North on reports of a shooting.
One man was pronounced dead on the scene. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office has identified him as 21-year-old Lavalle Priest.
Another man was taken to North Memorial Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. He has not been identified by authorities.
Homicide investigators have been interviewing witnesses, but so far no arrests have been made.
