EmailHeight Restriction Sign Added to MOA Ramp Following Deadly Accident
Changes have been made to a Mall of America parking ramp following a deadly accident.
Police say 52 year-old Raheem Waheed was driving a U-Haul truck into the west ramp Aug. 3 and may have misjudged the height of the truck.
The truck crashed into an overhead beam, causing the beam to crash down on the truck's cab. Waheed died on the scene.
Friday, a clearly marked height restriction sign was added to the beam in the parking ramp, reminding drivers about clearance limits.
