The Most Beautiful Construction Site in the Twin Cities
Minnesotans usually do a pretty good job of making the best out of a bad situation.
That's what the Nolan Company is doing while renovating the old Birch Pharmacy Building in the Lowry Hill neighborhood.
Instead of the usual, ugly plywood boards, they hired a local artist to create an installation to brighten up the neighborhood and discourage graffiti.
"We try to do things a little bit different from what everyone else is doing, and hopefully that amounts to doing things a little better," said Charles Nolan.
The art, while beautiful, is temporary. It will be taken down in October when windows are installed, and the building will open with a steakhouse and boutique office space in January.
