Mpls. Park Employee Discovers Dead Cat with Possible Political Message

An employee at Longfellow Park in Minneapolis found a dead cat burned and staked to a tree with an American flag. There was also an Obama yard sign lying off to the side. 

It's unclear if the display is a prank or a threat, but the timing may not be a coincidence.

The recreation building at the park will be used as a polling place in Tuesday's primary. 

A spokesperson from the Secret Service says they are monitoring the situation and will take action if necessary. 

There have been no other similar cases this campaign season.
