EmailPolice: 1 Critically Injured in St. Paul Shooting; Suspect in Custody
St. Paul police have arrested a suspect in connection to a shooting Friday that critically injured a person on the city's east side.
Police spokesman Howie Padilla says the shooting happened around 1 p.m. on Cypress Street. An exact location was not immediately available.
A male victim was taken to Regions Hospital with life-threatening injuries, Padilla says. The shooting does not appear to be a random act.
No further information has been released.
