3rd Teen Dies after Western Wis. Crash

The 17-year-old driver of a sport utility vehicle that crashed into the back of a semi on Interstate 94 last week in western Wisconsin has died.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says Zachary Zajec died Monday. He suffered "critical head, chest and extremity injuries" in the crash that killed two passengers - 16-year-old Jordan Johnson and 17-year-old Joshua Goodrich.
Another passenger, 17-year-old Thomas Wanless, suffered non life-threatening injuries in the crash. All four teens are from New Richmond.
The crash happened July 30 in the eastbound lanes of I-94 near Exit 3. The semi was stopped in heavy traffic when the SUV hit it, according to the state patrol.
A candlelight vigil was held for Goodrich and Johnson Sunday night at New Richmond High School.
