Scotty Meyer Throws Out First Pitch at Twins Game

Scotty Meyer, the little boy who stole so many of our hearts earlier this summer, got a special honor Sunday at Target Field.

He threw out the first pitch at the Twins game in honor of "Autism Awareness Day" at the ballpark.

The 5 year-old, who has autism, walked away from his Wisconsin home on July 3. He was found nearly 24 hours later, alive but covered with ticks and mosquito bites.

His mom says her three boys, all who have autism, had a rough couple weeks but all doing good now.

Jason Moser, the man who found Scotty.was also on hand for the ceremonial first pitch.
