Hit-and-Run Victim Continues to Recover, No Arrest in Case

A popular local musician continues to recover nearly a month after being hit by an SUV driving on Lyndale Avenue in Minneapolis in June.

Matt Call broke both femurs and his pelvis and suffered other injuries in the incident. The driver fled the scene.

Call says at first he was told he would not be able to put weight on his injured legs and pelvis for several months, but Call says he took his first steps ahead of schedule Monday.  Call says he's grateful for the outpouring of support he's received.

Police have not made an arrest in the case.
