Minnesota Air National Guardsman Alan Kroth is serving in Afghanistan, but still was able to be at his wife's bedside while their son was born ... thanks to Skype.
Hayden Lee Kroth was born at 12:01 Sunday morning.
He witnessed the entire birth and was even able to coach his wife during labor. Even though technology insured he didn't miss a moment, both new parents say it's no substitute for the real thing.
"I just can't wait for him to hold him for the first time. I just know he'll be all tears," said Justyna Kroth.
