1 Resident, 5 Firefighters Injured in Mpls House Fire

One resident and five firefighters were injured in a three-alarm house fire and possible explosion in Minneapolis on Sunday.
Firefighters were called to a duplex on the 2300 block of Filmore Street NE just before 3 p.m. When they arrived they say the basement, first and second floor were all in flames. They also say a rear exterior wall was pushed out from a possible explosion. They say all four people inside made it out by the time crews arrived.
One resident was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center. That person's condition is not known.
Five firefighters were also transported by ambulance with possible heat exhaustion.
Investigators are still looking into a cause.
