Twin Cities Company Trains People for Mass Shooting Situations

It's not likely to happen, but if you were to face something like the Colorado shooting, a company in New Hope has something to teach you.
It's called Sealed Mindset Firearms Studio. The classes there are taught by a former Navy SEAL. It's a self-defense program and one of the things they teach are techniques to survive mass shootings.
Even though the chances are slim you would face something like Colorado's shootings, the company stresses awareness and simple preparedness can help you.
Sealed Mindset walks people through different scenarios and one of the interesting things is what the experts at the company tell you to do first, if you were in a mass shooting.
Larry Yatch says you should first use a weapon, if you have one, to counter attack. If you don't have a weapon, Yatch says people need to rush the gunman and try to subdue him because, Yatch says, if you don't, you are likely to be killed or hurt anyway. If you can subdue the bad guy, it is likely fewer people will die or be injured.
Regular folks attend the Sealed Mindset classes. And, if you are interested, you can find them on the Internet and join as a member or just attend classes.
