4-Year-Old St. Paul Hit and Run Victim Finally Celebrates Birthday

 Tyrell Baymon was seriously injured by a hit-and-run motorcyclist on his way to his birthday party in St. Paul last May.

Tyrell got that party on Tuesday thanks to Family Circle Childcare Center in south Minneapolis. They didn't know Tyrell but heard his story and wanted to help. Tyrell left the birthday party with more than just presents -- he also made many new friends.

Information from neighbors led police to their suspect in this case. Witnesses say Ernest Jonas looked back after hitting Tyrell but didn't stop. Jonas pleaded guilty to criminal vehicular operation and will be sentenced next month.
