Unlikely Friendship Brings 2 Vietnam War Veterans Together

They fought on different sides, but two veterans of the Vietnam War came together as friends Tuesday.

Retired Air Force Brigadier General Dan Cherry and Hong My met at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. The two are in town for the AirExpo show at Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie.

In 1972, General Cherry shot down My's plane; a few years ago they reunited and quickly became friends.

The AirExpo show takes place this weekend at Flying Cloud Airport.
