EmailOtter Tail Co. Homeowner Survives House Explosion
A homeowner has survived an explosion that destroyed his house in Otter Tail County.
The sheriff's department said Tuesday Vergas firefighters responded to the property Monday afternoon and found the 67-year-old homeowner inside the rubble. Peter Hansen was taken to Perham Health with non-life threatening injuries.
Sheriff's officials say the house is a total loss. The state fire marshal is investigating the cause of the explosion.
