Driver Involved in Crash that Killed St. Paul Teen Appears in Court
The driver charged in the crash that killed a 16-year-old girl appeared in court Monday.
Clarisse Grime was waiting for the bus outside Harding High School when she was killed last Thursday.
Fifty-year-old Carlos Viveros-Colorado is charged with criminal vehicular homicide. His bail was set at $100,000.
The complaint says he claims numbness in his legs led to the crash.
The state says he doesn’t have a license, and Viveros-Colorado’s sister told investigators that he’s in the United States illegally.
His next court appearance is July 30.
