First Target Field Concert, Chesney and McGraw, a Success

Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw performed before a sold-out crowd in the first-ever concert at Target Field Sunday. The two co-headlined as part of the Brothers of the Sun 18-city tour. Tickets for the show sold out within four hours back in December.
Minnesota Twins spokesperson Kevin Smith said preparing Target Field for the concert was a 91-hour process, much of it in the oppressive heat. The facility may host future concerts - possibly one or two a year, Smith said.
Approximately 41,000 people attended Sunday's concert.
