Crews Transform Target Field Ahead of Country Music Concert

Target Field is undergoing a major transformation as crews prepare the facility for Sunday's country music concert.
Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw will be the first musicians to co-headline a concert at Target Field. Tickets for the show sold out within four hours back in December.
Minnesota Twins spokesperson Kevin Smith said preparing Target Field for the concert is a 91-hour process. The facility may host future concerts - possibly one or two a year, Smith said.
Approximately 41,000 people will attend Sunday's concert. It starts early enough that concert-goers are expected to be out of Target Field before 11 p.m., helping organizers avoid any noise ordinance issues.
