Crews Recover Body of Missing Forest Lake Boater

Authorities have recovered the body of a Forest Lake boater missing since Monday.

According to the Forest Lake Police Department, the body of 51-year-old Tod Alan Crawford was found in Forest Lake No. 1, about a half mile from where his empty pontoon was discovered.

Officials had found a dog swimming in the lake, along with the unoccupied pontoon boat just before 4 p.m. Monday. The pontoon was near the 6800 block of North Shore Trail.

Crews had been searching the lake, and Crawford's body was located around 11:25 a.m. Thursday.

Authorities have not released additional details.
