Excessive Heat Continues in Parts of Minnesota

nullThe excessive heat continues in parts of Minnesota.

The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for southern and parts of central Minnesota until 10 p.m. Thursday. It's been extended until 7 p.m. Friday for southern Minnesota toward Eau Claire, Wis.

Temperatures in southern Minnesota into western Wisconsin were expected to range from 95 to 100 Thursday with heat indexes of 105 to 112 degrees.

The weather services reports the combination of very hot daytime temperatures combined with very warm overnight lows will result in dangerous conditions.
