Severe Weather Hits Northwestern Minnesota

Severe storms could continue to hit the northwestern region of Minnesota throughout the day, especially in the area from Brainerd to the Canadian border.

These thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce tornadoes with little or no advance warning.

In the Twin Cities metro area, we'll see temperatures in the 100s today, with humidity making it feel like 110 degrees. There's also a chance of some rain late tonight, and the heat wave will continue Thursday with temperatures in the 100s.
