Amy Senser's Attorney Files Motion Asking for Probation
Amy Senser is set to be sentenced Monday in the hit-and-run death of Anousone Phanthavong.
Her defense attorney, Eric Nelson, filed a motion with the court Monday asking for probation. State guidelines call for a sentence of 41 to 57 months.
Nelson said Senser is "heartbroken' by the pain she has caused the Phanthavong family, she's active in her community and family, and she has no criminal history.
Senser is due in court Monday at 9 a.m.
