Man Injured in Coon Rapids Hit-and-Run, Vehicle Impounded

A man is in the hospital after a hit-and-run in Coon Rapids early Saturday.
Coon Rapids police were called to the 11400 block of Xavis Street NW around 5:15 a.m. by a 26-year-old man who said he'd been hit by a vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle left the scene after hitting the man and dragging him approximately 50 feet, according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.
The man was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with multiple serious injuries. He was in satisfactory condition Saturday evening.
The man was identified by his landlord as 26-year-old Kyle Flicker.
The sheriff's office has impounded a vehicle believed to be involved in the crash, though no one is in custody.
Authorities believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
