Man's best friend is proving he's just that in Blaine.
Chopper, a 2-year-old rottweiler, is being credited for helping save a man's life.
Around midnight a few weeks ago, Dan Gill was hit by a car and knocked unconscious while walking near his home on 132nd Lane.
Chopper saw the accident from his front window and started barking to wake up his owner, who called 911.
Gill suffered a broken thumb and a cracked skull in the crash, but he's going to be fine thanks to Chopper.
