Minneapolis Police: Missing Mother, Baby Found Safe

Minneapolis police say a 16-year-old mother and her baby have been found safe.

Police were looking for the teenager and her baby because the girl failed to return the child to his foster home following a court-ordered visit.

Authorities said they had reason to believe the girl cannot adequately care for her 6-month-old baby.

The mother was last seen with the child just before noon on Wednesday. She was with the baby during a supervised visit.

Police called off the search Thursday, saying both mother and child were found OK.
