ME: Boy Died of Single Gunshot Wound in North Mpls Home

The Hennepin County medical examiner's office says a single gunshot wound killed a 5-year-old boy who was sleeping in a north Minneapolis house.
Nizzel Anthony George of Brooklyn Park was on a couch at his grandmother's house Tuesday morning when a bullet came through the wall and hit him. The boy was pronounced dead at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
Police believe a gunman apparently involved in an ongoing dispute with someone at the Minneapolis home took aim at the house and opened fire.
Minneapolis police spokesman Sgt. Stephen McCarty says four homicide investigators worked on the case overnight, but there have been no arrests.
Police are following up on leads, and are working to try to identify a suspect. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call one of the assigned homicide investigators at 612-673-2941. Anyone who wants to remain anonymous can call 612-692-TIPS.
There is a Crime Stopper's reward of up to $1,000 for information.
