1 Suspect, 3 Victims Shot in Downtown Minneapolis

Four people were shot in downtown Minneapolis overnight; one shooting involved a police officer.

Minneapolis police say people were arguing outside of a home at 314 Hennepin Avenue around 2 a.m. Monday. Shots rang out right as the streets filled with crowds leaving the downtown bars.

Police say three people were hit outside Gay 90s nightclub. The police chased two suspects through downtown. One suspect was arrested in an alley, and the other suspect allegedly threatened an officer and was shot by the police at 2nd Avenue and Washington Avenue.

All four people shot have non-life threatening injuries, police say. They don’t believe it was connected to the Gay Pride Festival that took place this weekend.
The incident is still under investigation.
