Minn. Hockey Retains Tougher Penalty For Some Hits
Hockey penalties that were put in place after the hit that paralyzed Jack Jablonski, will stay in place next season.
The Minnesota Hockey Board made illegal hits like the one on Jablonski, an automatic five-minute major penalty. It used to be a two minute penalty.
The board voted 18-6 Sunday in favor of extending the penalty.
Jablonski's father, Mike, says he agrees with the decision.
