EmailDowntown Businesses Celebrating After Gay Pride Parade
An estimated 125,000 people came from all over the metro to see the Gay Pride Parade make its way down Hennepin Avenue Sunday.
Whether it be riding on a Harley, strutting rainbow-colored socks or marching to the beat of their own individual drum, Sunday's GLBT Pride Parade was more like one giant party.
It wasn't just the thousands of participants who had fun, businesses on Hennepin Avenue were celebrating as well as parade goers spent money on everything from transportation to food.
