New Poll: Minnesotans Favor Sunday Liquor Sales
Should the day of rest also be a day to buy booze? A new poll shows most Minnesotans want to buy beer, wine and other liquor on Sundays.
The data by national pollster, Public Policy Polling shows it doesn't matter which political party they support. Those who favor 61%-38% Democrats, 46%-38% Republicans and 68%-23% of Independents.
People may want it but many liquor stores are against it, saying they wouldn't get much business on Sundays. Sunday liquor sales failed at the Capitol this spring, don't be surprised if it shows up again next session.
