Man in Custody after Medtronic Parking Ramp Robbery

Police have a man in custody after an armed robbery at the Medtronic parking ramp this month.

Authorities say that a woman was robbed around 1:50 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at the ramp on Coral Sea Street.

The woman says she was knocked down and forced inside her vehicle and that the man then took her car keys and money. The woman was then chased by the man until he ended up driving away with her car.

The vehicle was recovered in New Brighton and a 34-year-old man was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated robbery in one of five separate robberies across the metro. More charges are expected.
