St. Paul Man is Suspect in Wife's Death
Police haven't said how a St. Paul woman died, or why anyone would have wanted to kill her. But they do have a suspect in her death. It's her husband.
St. Paul police and paramedics were called to a home on the 1000 block of Barclay Street Monday night on a report of an unconscious woman.
When they arrived they found a man outside the house who told them he was locked out.
Officers went in and found 67-year-old Jean Wassenaar on the floor. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man told officers Jean Wassenaar was his wife.
He was taken to Regions Hospital for evaluation.
An autopsy was performed on Wassenaar Tuesday. The results haven't been released.
