Funeral Services Monday for Minn. Soldier Killed in Iraq
Funeral services will be held Monday for a Minnesota soldier killed during a missle attack in Iraq.
Specialist James Wertish of Olivia is one of three Minnesota Red Bulls killed in that attack July 16 at a base in Basra.
The Patriot Guard escorted his body back to his hometown Thursday.
Funeral services for Spc. James Wertish will be held Monday morning at St.Mary's Catholic Church in Bird Island. He will be buried in a cemetery in Olivia,
Funeral services for the other Red Bulls killed in the attack, Spc. Dan Drevnick of Woodbury and Spc Carlos Wilcox of Cottage Grove, were held this weekend in the Twin Cities.
