Minor flooding along the St. Croix River will have an effect on Lumberjack Days this weekend in Stillwater.
On Thursday, the city planned to put up fencing to close off parts of Lowell Park. The rising river will push some Lumberjack Days activities from the park into nearby parking lots.
"Seventy-five percent of the park will be underwater," said Tim Moore of Stillwater Public Works, said. "We've been through it more than once. We'll deal with it; we always do."
The city of Stillwater isn't expecting the flood to cause any damage or affect businesses.
