The Minnesota State Patrol has identified the victim of a fatal crash that occurred in Scott County on Wednesday.

State Patrol identified the victim as Barbara Joan Fashant.

According to the incident report, Fashant was westbound on Highway 282, when her vehicle went into eastbound traffic and collided with a pickup truck. The crash occurred around 4:57 p.m.

State Patrol said Fashant was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.

Mark Anthony Neu, the driver of the pickup, did not suffer any injuries.
