A St. Paul man accused of robbing a Maywood Street residence at gunpoint in September has pleaded guilty to first-degree burglary, first-degree attempted aggravated robbery and second-degree assault.

Robert Javonte Barrett, 22, entered his plea in Ramsey County court Tuesday. Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 1.

According to the criminal complaint, St. Paul police were called to a home on the 1600 block of Maywood Street on Sept. 21 on reports of a burglary and attempted robbery.

The complaint said a female resident was washing dishes in the kitchen when Barrett walked into the home's enclosed breezeway, pointed a rifle at her and said, "I want the money."
