A 14-year-old boy hit by a vehicle after he exited a Metro Transit bus Sunday night at the intersection Cretin and Carroll avenues in St. Paul is in critical condition.

St. Paul Police Public Information Officer Sgt. Mike Ernster said the vehicle, which had been traveling southbound, hit the boy as he was crossing Cretin after getting off the bus.
