Three people were shot Sunday night in South Minneapolis although police said their injuries were not life threatening.

Spokesman John Elder, with the Minneapolis Police Department, said the incident happened at about 7:15 p.m. on the 3000 block of Blaisdell Avenue.


The individuals were shot by someone known to them, Elder said, and all three were transported to a nearby hospital.

Authorities have not yet located the suspect, Elder said.

The identities of those involved in the shooting have not yet been released.
