A St. Paul woman who pleaded guilty to driving drunk when she hit and killed a motorcyclist last fall was sentenced this week.

Twenty-nine-year-old Hannah Christie Weyh pleaded guilty June 17 to the Nov. 8 crash that killed 31-year-old Brandon Pearson.

On Wednesday, she was sentenced to four years in prison for criminal vehicular homicide.

According to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, Weyh was driving west on Broadway Avenue Northeast in Minneapolis when she turned left in front of the oncoming traffic, which had the right-of-way.

Police say Weyh’s blood alcohol level was 0.19 at the time of the crash, which is more than twice the legal limit.
