'Puppy Fest' Brings Dogs Together at General Mills

June 23, 2017 07:14 PM

The second annual "Puppy Fest" took place Friday at General Mills, where the company sponsored the event to show appreciation for canine companionship.

About 100 dogs were expected to attend the furry gathering.

Puppy Fest had perks for dogs and owners alike, including dog houses for photo shoots, "puppy ice cream" and vendors from around the Twin Cities that offer dog services.

"We really want to encourage people to bring their whole selves to work and to encourage them to really embrace all aspects of their family, including their canines," said event organizer Emma Wick.
