Public Help Sought in Finding Missing, Pregnant Woman Last Seen in Akeley

Authorities said Kara Blevins was last known to be walking along Howard Lake Road the evening of Feb. 2

Authorities are seeking the public's help in finding a pregnant woman last seen Feb. 2 in Akeley, Minnesota.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension issued an alert stating 27-year-old Kara Blevins was last known to be walking along Howard Lake Road that evening.

Authorities said Blevins is roughly 5 feet 9 inches, 170 pounds and has blue eyes and reddish-blond hair. She was last seen wearing a light grey winter coat, a white scarf and dark pants. Authorities said they believe she does not have a phone, money or extra clothing with her and she is without a vehicle.

Anyone with any information on Blevins' whereabouts is asked to call the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office at 218-732-3331, the Cass County Sheriff's Office at 218-547-1424, or 911.
