Roseville, Forest Lake Host Community Events Thursday in Light of Recent Police Shootings

Two communities are bringing residents together after recent violence in the country.

Roseville Area Schools is hosting a community conversation Thursday night. Police and other community leaders will be in attendance to talk about recent protests in Minnesota and violence against police around the nation.

The event takes place from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Fairview Community Center.

In Forest Lake, a vigil will take place to honor law enforcement officers. The event is part of a campaign throughout the Twin Cities to host a vigil every day this week; other communities hosted similar events earlier this week.

Thursday’s vigil takes place at 6:30 p.m. on the Broadway Avenue Bridge in Forest Lake.
