Police continue to search for the suspect involved in Wednesday's homicide in Columbia Heights, according to a release from the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.

The release said police are seeking a man in his 30s who goes by the nickname "Ox," according to the release.

The suspect was described as a black male about 5 feet 10 inches with a medium build. The release said the man may also have dreaded hair, a tattoo of a flower on his left forearm and may be driving a silver mid-sized vehicle.

Police said the suspect is considered dangerous.

On Wednesday morning, police responded to a disturbance at a residence at 1000 41st Avenue NE where they found a man who had "succumbed to a violent death." Police did not give specifics as to how the man died.

The victim was a 31-year-old man whose last-known address was St. Louis Park.
