Minnesota Super Bowl legacy fund food, 10 youth super snack challenge

The Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee Legacy Fund showcased 10 youth who are dubbed Super Snack Challenge "All-Pro Chefs" Tuesday. The 10 chefs were selected from more than 400 entrants and 52 Super Snack Challenge winners and have a chance of sharing their snack at the Super Bowl.  

The Super Snack Challenge is a  competition that invited Minnesota children ages 8-14 to share their favorite healthy gameday recipe. The initiative is The Super Snack Challenge is part of the host committee's legacy fund work to improve healthy habits in Minnesota. 


The event will include live preparations of selected healthy snack recipes by the 10 "All-Pro Chefs," and individual presentation to the judges, along a brief 52 weeks of Giving and Super Snack Challenge program.  The winner will be announced Super Bowl week. 

Minneapolis Mayor-elect Jacob Frey attended the event and give a grant dedication ceremony at Breaking Bread Cafe Tuesday.
